Welcome to 'Test Your Turkish', part of the 'Totally Turkish' website.

This website was set up to enable Turkish learners to test what they have learnt by answering questions, making translations and multiple choice questions. There is a different page for each section of the Turkish language, such as different tenses and vowel harmony.

If you have not yet learnt the basics and grammar of the Turkish language, click here to access my 'Totally Turkish' website where you can learn about the different tenses and how to construct sentences.

Feel free to e-mail me at learn-turkish@hotmail.com if you have any questions or simply just want to chat, I would love to hear your thoughts on my page!

Tips on how to learn the Turkish language quicker

1) Download childrens books in Turkish from the internet and try to translate them into English, write down all the words you don't understand and learn them.

2) Talk Turkish as much as you can, even to yourself or your pets! This will give you more confidence when speaking to Turkish People.

3) Watch Turkish TV online or listen to Turkish radio stations, even if you don't understand it you will still learn how to pronounce words.

4) Practice writing your own sentences or stories in Turkish, there are many forums that will check and correct it for you and you will learn where you are making mistakes and how to correct them in the future.
